The village behind the studio
Public records trace Dafen Oil Painting Village to , when Hong Kong painter Huang Jiang came to Dafen, rented a house, recruited students and painters, and began creating, copying, collecting, and reselling oil paintings. What followed was not just a production base. It was a dense street-level education in canvas preparation, brush control, color matching, packing, shipping, and client expectation.
DafenArts grew from that logic: many skilled hands, one accountable studio standard. Our work is built for customers who want the surface of real oil paint, the patience of human revision, and a clear process before a painting leaves the studio.
